- Simply go to this page and sign in to your google account: http://business.google.com/
- Enter the name of your business, and click Next. If someone else has already created and verified your business, you can request ownership of the business profile here
- Select your business category. Take your time with this and research the most relevant category for your business. The business categorisation will help Google show your profile in the most relevant web searches.
- Enter the business details relevant to your business, such as location, phone number, address, and business hours.
- Enter a service area. This is the area in which you conduct business.
- Click Finish, and start the verification process.
The verification process can take some time, and Google may request different methods of verification such as a video upload, or to enter a code they send in the mail. This code can take some time to receive, but unfortunately there's nothing you can do but wait for it to arrive. Once this has been added to your business profile, your profile will be live for others to see!
